In July 2023, the prices of medicines increase of around 0.7 % – 0.8 %
In July 2023, the prices of medicines in Russia experienced a moderate increase of around 0.7 % – 0.8 %
Rosstat published data on drug prices in July 2023. Over the month, the cost of medicines from the Vital and Essential Drugs list increased by an average of 0.8%, and other drugs – by 0.7%.
Among essential medicines, prices increased for Suprastin (+3.9%), acetylsalicylic acid (+2.8%), Pancreatin (+2.2%), Drotaverine and Furosemide (+2%) and others.
The cost of other pharmacy products also increased over the month, including corrective glasses and bandages (+0.4%), disposable syringes (+0.2%).
